COURSE OFFERINGSI know when I visit other teacher's sites I like to know what kind of a program they have at their school. Following are the classes I teach on a daily basis:
Tillamook High School Concert Choir
An auditioned competition choir and largest choir
Tillamook High School Show Choir
A non-auditioned choir which sings music with movements.
Tillamook High School Vocal Ensemble
An auditioned choir comprised of 16-18 students achieving the highest points possible on their audition. These students possess a high level of vocal maturity, leadership and character. This group sings for community events and takes a tour in the Spring.
Tillamook Junior High Mixed ChoirA non-auditioned choir for 7th and 8th grade singers.
Tillamook Junior High General Music
Open
to 7th and 8th graders, this class covers composing, playing guitar,
studying musical theater, learning about composers, symbols, instruments
of the orchestra and much more.
Tillamook Junior High Drama
This class teaches stage terminology, how to have fun on stage and work well with others. If all goes smoothly, a play is memorized and produced on stage at the end of the trimester.
